Absurd Snacks is dedicated to creating delicious and nutrient-rich snack options that are safe for most individuals with food allergies. That’s why we produce all of our snacks in our dedicated nut-free, gluten-free, and top-9 food allergy free facility.

Absurd Snacks is free of the FDA recognized top nine food allergens. This includes peanuts, tree, nuts, milk, eggs, soy, wheat/gluten,  fish/shellfish, crustacean, and sesame. We maintain  high standards for our entire supply chain, including our dedicated ingredient suppliers, warehousing protocols, and our production facility. We take all measures to mitigate the possibility of cross-contamination by only using allergen-free ingredient suppliers, segregated warehousing, and test swabbing for protein allergens in our facility before each day of production. We always recommend checking nutrition labels and ingredients lists before consuming any food products to ensure it’s safe for your allergy.

At this time, our snack pouches are not recyclable. We recommend you dispose of your empty snack bags in a home garbage bin or in any commercial waste bin. However, please either reside or recycle the box that your snacks are safely delivered in!

We do! We are a proud partner of CleanHub, a nonprofit organization that is committed to removing plastic waste from the environment before it enters our waterways. We partner with a hub in India to collect 1,500 pounds of garbage per year. This effort offsets our annual waste, making us a waste-neutral brand. You can track our collection tracker daily - here! Throughout high school and college, Grace had been air frying chickpeas to use as crunchy salad toppers and on-the-go snacks. When roasted to perfection, beans have a nutty flavor and light and airy texture. It was a no brainer, given their rich protein and fiber profile, to use crunchy roasted beans as our main crunch powerhouse. The fava beans were a later addition. When roasted and salted, jumbo fava beans split in half and become chip-like in taste and texture. They’re addictively delicious!
